Introduction

This document provides information on how APPTASTIC, LLC., a Florida Limited Liability Corporation, referred to in this document as "AppTastic", handles user data privacy for the Campus app, an app created and operated by AppTastic and hereafter referred to as "Campus" or "App". This documents specifies the privacy policy for the Campus App. AppTastic collects, stores, and processes data submitted through the Campus App for the functioning of the application as explained in this document.

Information Collection

When a user downloads and uses the Campus App, the following information is requested internally by the application or submitted through the App's user interface by the user:

• The college or university where the user is enrolled

• An email address for the selected college or university

• Timestamps of when the user logged in or performed an action

• The user's selected gender

• The user's selected graduation year

• The user's selected college major

• The user's name

• Up to 6 active profile photos uploaded by the user at a time

• A social media username

• The selected name of a student organization

• The selected name of a student housing building

• A notification token from the device if the user opts into push notification service

• Text, GIF, and reaction messages sent by the user within the app.

• Anonymous profile view count.

Information Use

Information collected by AppTastic is used solely for process of operating the app and providing functionality to users. The following information that is collected remains private and is not visible to users in the app interface of the Campus App:

• Email address

• Timestamps

• Gender

• Device notification token

The following information has visibility limitations:

• Text, GIF, and reaction messages sent by the user within the app are visible only to the sender of the message and the chosen recipient.

The following information is visible to all other users in the user's selected college or university unless the user has explicitly blocked a user, then the blocked user will not see the following information:

• Name

• Graduation year

• Major

• Student organization name

• Student housing building

• Social media username

• Anonymous profile view count

• Up to 6 profile photos

Information Sharing

Information collected by AppTastic is not accessible to or shared with any third parties.

Data Storage & Security

Information collected by AppTastic is stored securely with encryption and access control with AppTastic's chosen cloud services provider. Information collected by AppTastic is accessible only to users of the Campus App as defined in this document.

User's Rights

Information input by the user in the Campus App is accessible and editable through the Campus App's user interface. The user can delete their account and associated information at any time using the Account Deletion button in the settings page of the Campus app. Upon successful account deletion, the user's profile information, message history, and identifiable account information will be deleted by AppTastic from the Company's storage and no longer accessible.

Children’s Privacy

The Campus app is made available only to users at select U.S. Colleges and University with verifiable .edu email addresses. If you suspect an ineligible user, such as a minor is using the Campus App, please report the user profile within the app or email help@collegecampus.app and AppTastic's support team will handle the issue.

Third-Party Services

The Campus app does not use any third-party services with exception to the chosen cloud service provider, where user information is stored and processed for the purpose of operating the Campus app.

Policy Updates

Users of the Campus app will be notified of any changes to this Privacy Policy via the email on record for the user's account on the date when the policy becomes effective.
